WE FORMALLY ACCEPTED THE REFERRAL!

The past few days there has been much activity with our adoption process.  It is so nice to be doing something again instead of just waiting.

We accepted the referral.  We received translated medical records for Ryan.  Silva and Cathy have been very busy helping us!

Next steps:  

Hopefully file the I800 next week sometime.
Silva will visit with Ryan next week so we can learn more about Ryan.
Skype meeting with Silva.
Send a photo book of our family to the orphanage so Ryan can start learning about his new family!

We are so grateful the Lord has helped us get to this point.  We really feel like is going to happen!

5-5-5 FUNDRAISER!

We are so amazed and grateful for being chosen as a 5-5-5 family.  We just received over $800 from that event.  Thank you to all those who contributed.  We had never heard of the 5-5-5 Family fundraiser until we were chosen to be part of it.  

We are so excited for this month's 5 families to be able to experience God's provision for them in their adoption journeys through this event.

WE ARE MATCHED!

Just got an email from Silva that matching process has begun.  I know there are a few steps to it, but we have been approved as Ryan's family!

Praise the Lord- an answer to prayer!

Our FSP just recently went up $500!  To the wonderful person who donated that amount, thank you so much.  Your love and concern for little Ryan is greatly appreciated!

A WATCHED PHONE NEVER RINGS

I don't have much to say except we are very anxious to hear news from Cathy about whether we are matched or not.  

We are praying for patience as we wait and for God's will to be done in whatever decision is made.

WE HAVE BEEN SELECTED AS A 555 FAMILY!

We have been selected as one of March's 555 Families for Reece's Rainbow!

WE ARE UP AND RUNNING AGAIN!

My doctor letter, confirming I am 5 years out from my cancer diagnosis, has arrived in Georgia and then will hopefully be on its way overseas later this week.  Silva has already started to translate the email version she received on Friday. 

What this means is hopefully the committee will now reconsider our dossier and match us with Ryan.  I am trying not to think what happens if we don't get a match.  I have to trust that God has got this!

We are praying our match will come through by the end of this month.  Ironic, that we decided to adopt Ryan on Easter of 2015- we are almost to that one year mark...
