Ben is a picky eater. He eats healthy which we are very grateful for, but he certainly doesn't eat whatever we eat. However, we found out he does LOVE popcorn! He had it as his supper 2 weeks ago when we were at Stephen's track meet. The only supper choice there was hamburgers which Ben does not eat so we figured popcorn was the next best thing. We made up for it the next day :)
In this photo, Ben was enjoying the tradition of "whatever you want Sunday supper" which sometimes means popcorn! He had three helpings. I just love how happy he looks over popcorn! I bet the orphanage never had a fun meal like that.

And this photo is from Ben's birthday party. I forgot to include it in that post. Ben got up into into this tractor all by himself. If we had left him alone, he probably would have figured out how to operate it! Ben is very smart and observant. Not much gets by him. Again, I love seeing Ben so happy. One of the reasons the difficult days are hard is because I just feel bad that Ben can't just relax and enjoy life. So it warms my heart when I see him having so much fun!
P.S. I am whispering this: We are still in a really good place lately with Ben. He has been super pleasant, very cute, and doing lots of playing, looking at books, and listening to his Veggie Tales CD.
